From financial inclusion to fintech card programs — building products that matter.
I’m Juan Wiley. I’m VP of Card Products at Cross River Bank, where I oversee the card issuing, payments, processing and BIN sponsorship products that fintech companies use to run their card programs.
Before Cross River I spent more than a decade at Mastercard — across global prepaid, humanitarian & development programs, North America credit strategy for large banks and co-brand partners, and regional product roles covering Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.
The work
My career in payments has covered Prepaid, Debit, and Credit Card solutions across different segments and geographies — regional programs in Latin America, global humanitarian initiatives in Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia, and North America consumer credit for large banks and co-brand partners. Working on products that partners and financial institutions offer to their own customers.
AI in practice
I run a few side projects — a toy store with my daughter, a community giving platform — partly to stay honest about how development tools actually work today. Inside product teams I use AI for documentation, research, and structured problem-solving. It’s made me more precise about where it adds real value and where human judgment still has to lead.
